During his education, Dr. Mangat was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha Honorary Society and was a recipient of the Honors College Scholastic Scholarship. He became a Diplomate of the Board of Radiology in November 2005. Dr. Mangat has memberships with many professional organizations including the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the American Medical Association, Florida Radiological Society, and the Pinellas County Medical Association. Dr. Mangat has enjoyed private practice Radiology with Gateway Radiology Consultants, P.A. since 2004 and has Active Staff Privileges at Northside Hospital.

Dr. Mangat was born in Toronto,
Canada. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his Bachelor of Science in
Natural Sciences with Honors in 1993 at the University of
Akron in Ohio. He received his Doctor of Medicine in 1998
from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in
Rootstown, Ohio. After completing his Internship at Baptist
Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee in 1999, he
completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the
Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University in Detroit,
Michigan from 1999 – 2003. Dr. Mangat then completed a
Fellowship in Neuroradiology in 2004 at the University of
Florida/Shands Hospital.
